Before We Begin...

Over the next two months, I will be interning with Child Family Health International, an NGO based out of San Diego, California. My first rotation is in the Philippines, where I will be doing a program called Remote Island Medicine. I am excited about this new journey that I am about to embark upon. As a young woman determined to not live an ordinary life, this is an incredible opportunity and I cannot wait to see what all is to come in the following months! I am certain there will be many challenges along the way, but I hope to embrace them and through the process, become a stronger, more empathetic and understanding individual.
